    States rights- civil war
    Does anybody know anything about States Rights during/before the civil war?
    I have to do a project and every website has the same thing. :confused:

    States rights was really part of the real issue of the war
    Before the war the issues was that under the orignal set up, all states reserved any and all power not given to the federal government. After the war and every year since, the federal government has taken more and more power away from the states. ( sort of makes you wonder if the wrong side won? )
