    How to solve Thermochemical equations.
    Please help. My teacher says I'm supposed to use stoichiometry... but I am not sure how.


    Given the following thermochemical equation:
    2ZnS+3O2=>2ZnO+2SO2 q= 3360KJ

    If a reaction has a heat change of 884KJ, what quantity of SO2 in grams is produced?

    Well you can see that 3360KJ is equal to 2 moles of SO2 being produced... so how many moles are produced when 884KJ is released... how many grams is this?

    I assume this is how to do it, but I'm just guessing really :)
