    Can a foreign national open a US bank account?
    Hi,

    My boss just received his L1A Visa and he wants to open a personal bank account in the US.

    Is he able to do so?

    Hello Jack:

    You don't have to be a citizen to open a bank account.

    You do have to follow your CIP requirements and obtain the proper identification per your internal policy and procedures.

    I am not a US citizen,But with the following URL
    I have opened a account and received a MasterCard.

    My husband is green card holder but me not yet still living abroad our prob.is the refund check because it's a joint name he can't deposit to his account so we are planning to open joint accounting usa when I visit him.. what are the requirements to open and another prob.my middle name in the check is wrong *** help.. tnx
