    Bios
HELP I just bought myself a new CPU and cooling fan but it only runs at 3000rpm it supposed to go twice that speed (which I need it to) since my system hits 40-50'c in a matter of minutes, I asked my dealer about it they said I had to change the settings in my BIOS to get the fan to go faster but not one of them knew how to do it with my motherboard (which I also bought from them), I am at a loss of what to do and don't want to change anything I shouldn't. My setup is as follows

    ASUS a7v600-x
    AMD athlon 2400+
    1280MB DDR RAM
    Inno3d 5700FX tornado 256MB aperature

this is causing me problems with installing as my system overheats and shuts down
