    The new, ethical racism
A Jackson County School board member, Kesha Hamilton, faced backlash for tweets blasting White people during a public comment on Tuesday, including one resident who called her "angry and bitter."
The tweets, shared by Libs of TikTok, show the Michigan school board member stating "These White women are the stupidest" and calling "Whiteness" an "evil"
She later said, "Whiteness is so evil.. it manipulates then says, I won't apologize for my dishonesty and trauma inducing practices and thinks you should applaud it for being honest about its ability to manipulate and be dishonest. #Deceitful #Perfidous,"

Another harmonious, inclusive quote. "The last thing you have to worry about is an animal – though that could be a very real threat.. more dangerous are any whites you may see on the trail.. be safe!"

In the spirit of liberal tolerance she says, "Whiteness defined is ‘white racialized identity (which) refers to the way that white people, their customs, culture and beliefs operate as the standard by which all other groups are compared."
"Whiteness is a construct, a normalization with a foundation in white supremacy, recent examples of the normalization of whiteness with a foundation of white supremacy are the murder of George Floyd, the massacre of Black residents in Buffalo, NY, the attempted kidnapping of MI Governor Whitmer, the attack on our Democracy on January 6th, 2021, inconsistencies of our criminal justice system, etc."

All I can say is we live in a strange country where liberal dems who claim to be loving, tolerant, and inclusive are in reality some of the biggest racists on the planet. Hatred is approved and applauded as long as it is hatred of the right groups. If they really believed their rhetoric, they would shout this woman into silence. That they don't is telling. For many, the idea is more of political control than it is of true freedom and tolerance. If the liberal dems on this site believe their own words, they will speak up against this woman's behavior.

But besides that, and lest we leave the topic, what do you think of the woman's comments?

I agree with this quote, "Whiteness is a construct, a normalization with a foundation in white supremacy..."

And I understand what she means when she said, "The last thing you have to worry about is an animal – though that could be a very real threat...more dangerous are any whites you may see on the trail...be safe!"

I would not want to be a non-white woman crossing the path of one or more white men (and/or women?), especially in an unpopulated place.

Then, back to my Adam-and-Eve question, why does racism exist? Why can't we all just get along???

Wow. Then you not only approve of racist attitudes towards whites, you even participate in them. Amazing. What would you think if I said, "I would not want to be a white woman crossing the path of one or more black men, especially in an unpopulated place?"

"Whiteness is a construct, a normalization with a foundation in white supremacy..." So all white-skinned people, including you, are founded in white supremacy? That's an interesting view considering that what you seem to agree with as being true of you is most certainly not true of me. And all this time I thought you were the liberal.

Racism exists because pride and sin exist.

I do not approve of ANY racist attitudes or behaviors, not do I participate in any. My Black friends have told me about too many instances of disrespectful behavior toward them by whites.

    Reading comprehension problems again? --
"I would not want to be a non-white woman crossing the path of one or more white men..."

"would: (expressing the conditional mood) indicating the consequence of an imagined event or situation"

You closed with: "Racism exists because pride and sin exist." And we can choose to behave otherwise, choose to be loving.

I do not approve of ANY racist attitudes or behaviors, not do I participate in any.
But you most certainly do. When you say that a non-white person (imaginary or otherwise) would be in jeapordy from a group of men for no other reason than the color of their skin, and that is what you said, then you are engaging in plainly racist profiling. It could not be any more apparent. It is just as racist as a white person saying, "I would not want to be a white woman (imaginary of otherwise) crossing the path of one or more black men, especially in an unpopulated place."

So tell us how your statement is not racist, but the second one is. Please explain. Or perhaps you could simply say that your first statement was poorly worded and does not reflect your actual attitude.

I think it just illustrates yet again that liberals can frequently be the biggest racists on the planet. Their only plea is that they could not be a racist because they are politically liberal. It's similar to the racist comments Biden has made in the past for which he is never held accountable.

Well...no real reply other than to insult another group of people. Why do you want to resort to such mean tactics? At any rate, I have lived in the South for most of my life.

So we know now that you are prejudiced against white men, evangelicals, and people from the South. Any other prejudices we need to know about?

I know. That's what you always say. Still, you claimed that non-white women should be concerned about a particular group of men ONLY because of the color of their skin (their race). That's as racist as it gets.

It's why I just don't care to discuss anything with you. You make an outlandish statement, but instead of owning or correcting it, you instead insist it is someone else's fault. So with that I'll leave it with you.

Let's always stick to the discussion, and don't disrespect the poster.

If someone makes a statement we don't agree with, let's ask for more evidence or examples or a better explanation, as in "I don't understand....please explain further."

You mean like this? "Okay. Same here. Your lack of comprehension and odd connectivity boggles my mind."

Or this? "And I was poking fun at YOU, not Southerners."

And please link to the last time you did this. "Let's ask for more evidence or examples or a better explanation, as in "I don't understand....please explain further."

    Good for the goose...?

If you make a blatantly racist statement, I will point it out. You did so when you suggested that non-white women should be afraid of a certain group of men for no other reason than their skin color (race). It is a textbook example of racism. You tried to explain it by claiming you were only referring to an "imgained" event. So that would be a hypothetical, I suppose, in which non-white women should fear WHITE men but not other men. Sorry, but that doesn't pass muster. So now I'm asking you to explain why non-white women should be particularly afraid of white men. Is there even an ounce of data to support such an idea? Or better yet, simply admit you made a statement which was poorly worded or insufficiently thought out.
