    Wipe out !!!!
That's right ;barring any expected or unexpected poll "shenanigans " by the Dems ,the red wave will be a wipeout .

I was not sure of this until the weekend. The Dems got their heavyweights on planes to close the deal. What was telling is where they campaigned.

The Emperor and Clueless creepy Quid Pro Joe campaigned in New Mexico ,California ,Illinois ,New York ,Pennsylvania .

Most of those states should be slam dunk locks for the Blue team. Kathy Hochul should be a shoo-in to win the Guv race in NY . Yet the Dem's A team had to come and campaign for her yesterday . The idea that it is close enough for them to have to waste time and resources to rally the base is unheard of . Lee Zeldin is no George Pataki middle of the road moderate Rockefeller Republican. He voted with Trump in Congress. Yet the race is competitive enough that the Dems think they have to make a special effort to close the deal.

This is happening all over the country . We have been told that Trump undermined the Repubs by getting supporters like Hershel Walker nominated . But if he is such a bad candidate then why would the emperor go down to Georgia (he was looking for an election to steal) ......if the Warnock campaign was not able to destroy Walker ?

More important .What is the closing message ? Repubs are bogymen who want to destroy democracy . Is that the best they got?

The emperor also went on Chi-com controlled TikTok ;sitting yoga style under a desk to urge younger voters to register and vote.

    1. Obama looks old.
    2. If the appearance of voter fraud shows up again this week, then look for trouble in the streets. People are getting tired of it.
    3. Energy prices going back up does not bode well for dem chances.
    4. If the repubs gain majorities in both houses, then that will be good news for them. It will also be bad news as voters will expect them to play hardball with Biden like they tried and failed to do with Obama. Considering that Biden's popularity is not even close to what Obama had, then their chances of success will be higher.
    5. Kari Lake could be a rising star with republicans. She reminds me of a Trump who has mouth and Twitter discipline.
    6. Trump opened fire on DeSantis this week (Ron DeSanctimonious) which surprised me. I would think it makes it much more likely that DeSantis will run.

Trump was gaging how his attack would play in 2 years . He can't hurt DeSantis .DeSantis' lead of Crist is double digit . Some in the crowd booed so that should tell Trump to tread lightly . The compliant press of course creams in their pants over the prospect of a Repub circular firing squad in the 2024 primaries. So they will egg Trump on .

Trump also called DeSantis a "nice man" a week ago . So who knows what he is really doing ?

I guess the people of the nation approve of the direction the country is going. Clueless Joe and the Dems are going to read the results as a mandate to continue their nation destroying agenda .

It is puzzling. It appears the repubs will control the House and the Senate will likely remain split. The advantage of basically controlling 90% of the national media is a powerful one for the liberal dems. We will continue to spend and borrow our way into oblivion and wake up, I suppose, far too late. There were some bright spots. Abrams and O'Rourke losing was big, but the election of a mentally damaged man in Pa for Senate is really strange.

The Dems holding the Senate is VERY dangerous . They will take it as a mandate for court packing and ending filibusters

At least Abrams didn't resort to any loonie election conspiracy theories. Or did she?

Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams insisted Monday that Republican Gov. Brian Kemp’s voting law is allowing White supremacists to purge voters while appearing on MSNBC’s "The ReidOut."
Well, she is a writer of fiction, so that statement just came naturally. She needs to go back to writing porn.

She will have to square that circle with the fact that the state shattered early voting records ;that there were no subtantial delays at the polls or in the counting ,and that there were higher percentage of minority and older voters in early balloting .

Jim Crow 2.0 is the lie of the year
But that's the whole problem. Truth is no longer valued, so people are all too happy to accept a lie so long as it validates their view of the world.

I saw a post on Facebook today that being kind was more important than being right. I see the point there, but allowing someone to believe a lie in an effort to be kind is in reality not being kind at all.

The Dobbs decision was the major factor for the Repubs poor showing . Exit polling shows nationwide 39% of voters were angry over the Dobbs decision and 21% dissatisfied . Combined 60% of voters had a negative view of the ruling .

My wife and I talked about that this morning. Part of it is the fact that the dishonest media portrayed it as the elimination of abortion when it was not. Noticed today that CNN portrayed it as an "abortion rights" issue. Well, there is no legal right to an abortion. There is, however, very solid legal authority for the "right to life". I wonder if the media had been portraying it that way for the past twenty year if it would have made a difference?

I agree that was a big factor. When the Supreme Court abolished a right that had been in effect for 50 years, AND when certain justices lied about their position on Roe v Wade, it is not surprising that the voters acted as they did.

As Jl correctly pointed out the youth believed the compliant press lie that SCOTUS banned abortions . 5 states yesterday adjusted their laws to the new reality. The people actually had a say instead of when Roe went down .

when certain justices lied about their position on Roe v Wade,
Who? (Note to readers: There will be no answer to this question since...there is no answer to this question.)

There never was a "right" to an abortion other than what a liberal SC pulled out of thin air.

The press did nothing of the sort. In fact, they went to great lengths to report the different results in all the states. Hardly compliant. As to the youth vote, exactly how do you know why they voted as they did? ESP?

The press led them to believe that abortion rights were banned and the Dems of course campaigned with a version of that narrative
