Trump has far greater mental problems than Biden. His demonstrated lack of knowledge is astounding for a wealthy 70+ year old man with an Ivy school education. His complete lack of empathy is a sure sign of a sociopath. His well-documented malignant narcissism borders on the psychotic and remains a danger as long as he plays a significant role in American politics.

I was marveling over your Alzheimerish comment:
If I was is the Dem leadership that ies what I would do. All the world see's he in mentally challenged ,
It is a real problem . One example is that his staffers have had to repreatedly walk back comments he makes saying the US will militarily defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion when that is NOT the US policy .

Yes the world knows he suffers from some stage of dementia Our adversaries are taking advantage of that .Our allies have deep concerns about our leadership.

And just basically living in a fantasy world where Trump forgetting a few things put him on that same level is no answer. There was no widespread suspicion of Trump's mental faculties when he was pres. His character was an issue, but not his mental acumen.

I would have loved to have watched the meeting where they were trying to figure out out how to spin the whole debacle.

What mental acumen??? If he were a Democrat, this thread wouldn't be able to contain all the venom about him.

He is mentally very sharp. You didn't see him trying to find dead people in a crowd.

Pointing out the very obvious mental deficiencies of Mr. Biden is not venom. It's a legitimate topic for discussion.

And do we want an octogenarian for president in 2024?

Good! Then Biden will be appropriate too. Maybe they could run together as a team!

1 for one would welcome an age limit 79 seems to be a reasonable age to put them out to pasture .Reagan was 77 at the end of his 8 years and the Dems were very concerned about his mental facilities . Clueless began his reign at that point .

There are people who are still sharp at 80. Biden is a good distance removed from being one of them.

Record low unemployment and a great economy is not achieved by someone who has nothing more than a sharp tongue.

Too true, JL. Thus, all the more reason to have available for reading plus thorough and honest discussion any books and other materials on controversial topics.
