Are the Russians preparing a fall offensive ?

I am reminded of fall 1941 . Germans were on the march .They approached Moscow. They were engaged in battle in Stalingrad . They were marching towards the oil fields of Baku Azerbaijan .

Suddenly seemingly out of nowhere on November 19,1941 General Zhukov launched a counteroffensivewhich involved 500,000 Russian troops, 900 tanks, and 1,400 aircraft. Within three days, the entire German force of more than 200,000 men was encircled
Where did they come from ? These were troops that General Zhukov had led against the Japanese on the eastern front .He had annihilated the Japanese Army in Manchuria at Khalkhin Gol 2 years before .

Last week Russia hosted military exercises in the far east called Vostok 2022. . The Russian forces there look fresh , fit and capable ..

Related .... news today is that Russia is purchasing millions of rounds of rocket and artlillery shells from the NORKS

Keep your eyes on Russian movement west in the next couple of weeks with my best guess being a new offensive launched before the rains and snow in the Ukraine late fall. Possibly starting by late this month .
