Oh please. I've tried and tried to get you to support your views with "cogent arguments", most recently with your views on free will and yet being bound by/subject to sin. All I get is evasion, evasion, evasion.

You misread my comment. "...challenge others to consider and post their own views and then support them [ i.e., THOSE VIEWS] with cogent arguments." I don't see many cogent arguments.

I read it perfectly. You have a view that people who are subject to sin have, notwithstanding that, free will. I have asked you to support THAT VIEW with cogent arguments. So far, not much.

You are subject to sin. You have no free will to do good?

See what I mean? Ask for a "cogent argument", and you get a retread question.

Latest antics by free-speech loving, liberal dems.

A conservative lawyer slammed Yale University on Friday for “cowering to mobs” after the Ivy League school refused to condemn law students who harassed her during a free speech panel.
Kristen Waggoner, general counsel at the Alliance Defending Freedom, was on Yale’s bipartisan panel last week when more than 100 protesting students stormed in and disrupted it.
The students held up signs attacking ADF before one student told a member of the conservative group that she would “literally fight you, b—h.” Panel members eventually had to be escorted out by police.
“This wasn’t a protest. This was physical intimidation and bullying that took place in the presence of Yale administration,” Waggoner told “Fox & Friends” on Friday.
“I just want to underscore the importance that Yale administrators shouldn’t be cowering to mobs. They should be insisting on embracing a culture of free speech.”

Intolerance and persecution is now cool .

Cancel Culture database identified 186 incidents of blacklisting or censorship individuals for having wrong opinions or to cancel history and facts because that history or facts offended them between June 2021 and June 2022 .

Cancel Culture Database | The College Fix

There have been 112 speakers, signs, statues and other targets completely canceled on campus during the last academic year, and another 74 attempted cancelations, according to The College Fix’s Campus Cancel Culture Database, which tracks such incidents. That amounts to a total of 186 campus cancel culture incidents from June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022. Put another way, there have been almost four campus cancel incidents per week over the past school year.
“For people who claim that cancel culture is a made up right-wing phenomenon, I invite them to scroll through page after page after page of our Campus Cancel Culture Database,” said Jennifer Kabbany, editor in chief of The College Fix. “You can’t go a week without something on campus being memory holed, erased, fired, renamed or what have you,” she said.

College Fix finds nearly 200 campus cancel culture incidents during 2021-22 school year | The College Fix

Since the end of May, the number of blacklisting incidents in the database has grown from 1550 to 1570
The database does not play favorites, listing acts of oppression from both the right and the left, though an honest review of the list reveals that most are coming from the intolerant left.

And this list is ONLY related to college incidents . It does not include incidents in the public school systems across the US ;where scores of incidents have been reported elsewhere. It also does not include incidents of blacklisting and intolerance in private business OR the government.

This is a Jacobin grass roots movement that is sweeping the country . It is well past the stage of a small minority of people with power. It is becoming acceptable mainstream practice in this country that is focused on destroying any opposition or dissenting views.. While a few years ago they tried to silence their opponents, now they are trying to get them fired and removed from society entirely.

The fact that most of this originated in the acedemic world where open mindedness and the free and open exchange of ideas was required as a prerequisite makes it particularly galling .

Mao's Cultural Revolution is what we are witnessing in America today.
