A positive development in the "All white people are racists!" front.

Oberlin College alumni and civil rights lawyers alike were stunned by the combined $44 million in damages awarded by a Lorain County jury to the owners of Gibson’s Bakery in a libel, slander and defamation suit.
The lawsuit, which named both the college and Meredith Raimondo, vice president and dean of students, stemmed from a Nov. 9, 2016, shoplifting incident and fight at the Oberlin bakery that involved three African-American Oberlin College students and Allyn D. Gibson, a white store clerk. The incident sparked immediate protests.
The complaint states that Raimondo and other Oberlin College representatives “handed out hundreds of copies of the flyer to Oberlin College faculty, staff, and students, the Oberlin community and media representatives stating that Gibson’s Bakery and its owners racially profiled (the students).”

Tony Dungy was the 1st Black head coach to win the Super Bowl . He recently supported Guv DeSantis's “Responsible Fatherhood Initiative.”

Dungy is someone who gets the relationship between Black crime and the failed family . He joined Rev Abe Brown's prison ministry .Expecting to find hardened criminals ,he found instead young adults that could've been his children. Brown told Dungy , “It’s not socioeconomic. It’s not racial. It’s not education. It’s none of that. Ninety-five percent of these boys did not grow up with their dad.”

This is a position that not too long ago the emperor took ."We know the statistics that children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison.”

Read the whole address. The emperor correctly pointed out that the problem is not Jim Crow, racism ,or legacy of the slavery era .It is not police brutality .
He of course did not go far enough in identifying the root cause of the family disintegration is the lefty progressive welfare nanny state...the modern day equivalent of the plantation.

The bill signed by DeSantis will direct millions of dollars towards initiatives aimed at encouraging responsible and involved fatherhood.

Dungy's support of DeSantis' bill has got the woke crowd in a buzz. Keith Olberman called him a fascist prop. Another moron ,Deadspin, said Tony Dungy is constantly used as a prop by bigots.

The emperor's statement did raise the dander of race baiter Jesse Jackson . His response to the emperor's remarks was that he wanted to cut the emperors nuts out .“Barack—he’s talking down to black people—telling n*****s how to behave.”

After that the emperor got the message and never spoke like that again. I think Dungy has more character and will not cave so easily to the woke madness.

As much as I might applaud that statement, it is wrong. The foundational rock must be a respect for God and the teachings of the Bible. It is from that Rock that we come to value and prize family. When you lose the first, you will eventually lose the second.
