You get what you can get . We have now had 3 Repub Presidents since Roe v Wade who were pro-life and we have had Republican majorities for some of those years ;and yet the needle has barely moved away from extreme abortion on demand . GWBush was as ideologically pure as they come ...and nothing changed .

So I have given up having an ideologically pure litmus test . I'll take the little victories as they come.

If you consider 900,000 unborn deaths a year to be a moral tragedy, then little victories don't provide much comfort. I do get your point, however. Barring a major victory, then minor improvements are at least a move in the right direction, but I don't see myself ever voting for someone who is in favor of continued abortions, and that seems to be the position of TG.
