Yesterday Amnesty stripped him as a designated 'prisoner of conscience ' . Why ? Because in the past he had made comments that weren't pc ;and the woke mob went on the offensive . Amnesty did not specify which comments it was referring to and said it was not aware of similar pronouncements made by him in recent years.
What do we know . He is a Russian nationalist who has in the past made comments about illegal immigration into Russia . Would that be enough cause for the woke crowd to turn on him ;and for Amnesty International to bow to the cancel culture ?

Amazing how that stuff takes on a life of it's own . Before the Black Panther salute (aka Wakanda Forever salute) became a thing ;Marvel fans would say to each other 'Hail Hydra' (the organization that resembles the Nazis in the Marvel universe ).But that did not transcend .

The salute was the way Pharaohs were buried . It also is the ASL sign for 'hug' .
I can see where it would become a cultural phenomenon . What I don't understand is why teachers would be disciplined for not giving the salute.

Racist nutcase? The second article clearly portrayed him as a nutcase, but not a racist one. He was a left-wing champion of senseless diversity nutcase, and could only be accused of racism if you considered it to be directed, not against minorities, but against whites. He represented everything the Biden/Harris supporters love. As I have oftentimes noticed, I don't think you guys even bother to read your own links. It's absolutely incredible.

Some New York City schools may not be as diverse as the population in general, but this isn’t segregation.

In his first year, he subjected “principals, central office supervisors and superintendent teams” to ridiculous presentations on white privilege. As Susan Edelman, Selim Algar and Aaron Feis reported at the time, “White employees who object when accused of harboring deep-seated bias are branded ‘fragile’ and ‘defensive,’ one insider who received the training has said.”

Carranza, appointed in 2018 by, unsurprisingly, a liberal dem mayor, was a perfect example of the elite liberal who expects everyone else to follow a different set of rules that do not apply to him/her. Obama sending his kids to a up-scale private school was an example of this. So was Carranza. "Carranza railed often against “screened” schools, ie: schools that consider factors like grades or test scores for admission, yet sent his daughter to such a school in San Francisco. His First Deputy Chancellor also sent her kids to NYC’s screened schools — and even managed to get them in after the application date for these schools had passed."

Liberal dems would do well to clean up their own front yards before having a fit about Trump. The rusted tricycles and empty drink cans are an unsightly mess.
