The Christmas nazi are on the prowl again
Covid has caused draconian measures to once again be employed in Australia. Rhetorically, yesterday I heard that local aged care facilities had been locked down despite no local threat. Suburbs of Sydney have been isolated, state borders closed and travellers turned away and all this because of 90 infections, perhaps traced to international travellers once again. Why can't these people from the UK and the US just stay away. Given the range of venues visited by the infected, one could be excused for thinking the spread is deliberate or at the very least selfish inconsiderate behaviour. One infected woman travelled from Sydney to Queensland and back again a day later begging the question, Why?

The "you are not welcome" sign is being hung out again

That will be when you tire of self agrandising idiots masquerading as politicians

Tom, the powers that be, having little power over a virus, do the next best thing and have us all stay at home which is a form of social distancing, that is distancing without the social, meanwhile people flee from the hell holes created by the virus and come to spread the joy.

no proof staying home is effective . In fact quite the opposite . Contact tracers in NY confirm that most new cases are not from people bar hopping or going to restaurants . In fact most are people who stayed at home .

Initial findings of a state analysis of recent hospital admissions indicate most new victims of the coronavirus are people who were mainly out of the workforce amid sweeping stay-at-home orders that shut down most of New York's economy, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday.
The survey of nearly 1,300 COVID-19 patients admitted to hospitals the last few days generated “a surprise,” Cuomo said at his daily briefing, held at Northwell Health's Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research in Manhasset. “Overwhelmingly, the people were at home.”
Cuomo: 'Everything is closed down,' yet many staying at home made ill by virus, per NY study | Newsday

Remarkable, most of the spread here is in restaurants and events and of course the ubiquitous international traveller. I have not caught the virus and I don't socialise. I was in a restaurant last sunday evening, I was the only diner and the staff thanked me for coming. You see it makes no sense that the infection occurs at home, unless there is much social transmission by interacting and gathering in homes

I disinfect my home regularly with anti virus spray even though I am the only one there because there are still other bugs

Unless you get vaccinated then your time is coming . Hate to tell you man .But unless you are in the lucky few then you will get the virus or the immunization . Living the life of a hermit ;if you call that a life ,is still no guarantee that the angel will pass over .

Tom I live in the lucky country upheld by God's grace and covid has certainly given proof to that. We have had about 20,000 infections and perhaps 1,000 deaths and most of that from international travellers
