No Clete the dem House is doing its job but the repub senate is doing absolutely nothing. They've been silent for months refusing to legislate or debate on legislation. That makes Athos 100% correct.

Something is wrong with Cuomo's nursing home death numbers. He should come clean and defend the numbers or explain them. Either way is better than simply calling the controversy "politics".

CV19 is fading, the media have found something else to alarm us with and so the death toll rises, the cure seems far away, and the world has changed forever. The planet is fighting back and it will win eventually

fading, only in the attention sense, Tal, it is, of course, still front page news here with the media daily regaling us with the local death toll, but there is less attention paid to it elsewhere, it has become a fact of life and joined the myriad of diseases we live with. Our problems are small, almost insignificant, compared to other places but we are winning the fight.

When attention comes to other subjects China looms since they appear to have decided we are a target as they try to wean us from the american teat with a barrage of economic measures, while Trump's display of bravado in the South China Sea also captures attention but the world has receded since we can no longer travel there and it might as well be Mars

Colleges here that reopened have shutdown and sent the kids back home to infect their families and friends. Smart move by academia.

Of course all the dufus wants to talk about is sleepy Joe, and his left wing loony friends while he gets his intel reports from right wing loony fringers on the Internet.

sick kids belong at home not in campus dorms, don't know why you can't see that, and those that arn't sick might as well be at home where the cost of living is low

This is an election year so all you will get is goofy comments from the candidates, this is to be expected. They haven't focused on the real issues and China takes advantage of this, tweeking the tigers tail

We are beyond the point of blaming China and need to own our own actions. The dufus sure won't!

No, you cannot get beyond the bellicose Chinese attitude, they are a very arrogant race and very paranoid. They try to dictate the terms to others and become very upset when it doesn't work. They long ago told us we should abandon our association with america and throw in our lot with them. It almost worked, some of our politicians gave them favourable treatment, however, we are not so niaive and we pushed back. It was not well received and now we are being treated to trade war tactics and as a result we will examine every agreement with them and maybe cancel some of them. They are very subversive.

China is to blame for CV19, exactly how isn't apparent, but their reaction to our suggestion of an enquiry upset them. As to your own actions, you were caught in a perfect storm and one has to wonder how CV19 spread so rapidly in your country and yet apparently didn't in China?

The Chinese are far to superior in many areas to take lightly whether you like what they do or how they do it or NOT.

The Chinese are in no way superior, what the world doesn't need is another master race, it has too many of those already

Militarily they are far and away superior to many and most. That has to count as far as invading, destroying, rape pillage and plunder if they so choose.

the Chinese are a bunch of wimps, they haven't fought a real enemy in decades, their tactics are untried, their only real experience was in Korea and they got their arse kicked and then when they invaded Vietnam they were defeated. They talk a good fight but martial arts won't cut it on a modern battle field. Communist rhetoric doesn't win wars
