    Ranking data by value
    I have a excel sheet showing sales and sales_return data. I want a excel formula to rank the data values automatically by high to low values (without sorting) as in model excel sheet enclosed.

    In an unused cell (I used D2) type in the following:

    =rank(C2,$c$2:$c£11,0)

    Copy the contents of D2 into D3 to D11
