    New car...well less than new
    HI guys,

    It's been a while.

I picked up my used car last month, 6900 miles on the clock with an average of 33.3 mpg. Not very good I thought.

With my fairly old man (63) driving 800 miles, my average mpg is now up to 34mpg.

Can I work out what my mpg is over that 800 miles?

As long as you take account the differences between highway and city driving. Big difference between the two old man or not. Whats the rating on that MPG for that car? Use air conditioning, tire pressure checked, weather and road conditions? Lots of factors to consider.
