We should be thinking in terms of revoking Red China's Favored Nation Trading Status and, also, canceling our debt payment to them to the tune of however many billion of $$$s this Corona Virus has damaged our country. If Red China has half of their country in poverty, my only hope is that their poverty number expands to consume the entire fetid nation.

Pretty fair statement. I'm sure we are playing catch-up in some ways, but we're also paying a steep price for what might very well turn out to be a significant over-reaction.

We could start with this ridiculous idea to send everyone a check for a thousand dollars. Until we find a vaccine or treatment regime, or if indeed it immunity can be built, like the flu, and there are no long lasting effects like reinfection then safety first and caution needed. Can you say recovering people are not just in temporary remission? Are not carriers? No we know NOTHING right now do we except it causes death to some and not others in this initial phase.

We gave up our freedoms a long time ago, when we agreed to show up at a given time for some dude to give us money whether it was enough to live off of or not. Money is the only freedom now a days.
