    percentage question
    HI.

i just can’t wrap my head around how to figure this out…

i’m trying to figure out how long something would take to be built. i have a house that is 27.02% completed and this took 4 months. how many more months would it take to complete the build at 100%?

if someone could help me with both the answer and the math formula that i can document to reconcile this - that would be great.

so thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    cheers-

    cindy

    Think of it this way:

You have 100 pieces to complete the house, 27.02 are already installed.

How long did it take to do 1 piece (4 months divided into 27.02 pieces)

Then knowing how long one piece takes, how long would it take to do all 100 (previous answer times 100)

    Time to complete = time/% complete x 100

Then you take that answer and subtract the 4 months already used up.
