    It will or should be written into the terms of the garnishment. Depending on where you are at, but a general rule they are good for 10 years and can often be extended for another 10.

    With that said, normally once a person has that bank account garnished, they often stop putting money into it.

    Yes, when you repay what you owe the creditor.
