    Pain after filling
I had a filling a little less than 2 weeks ago on my bottom left back molar. The cavity was close to my gum so the dentist said my gum might be sore for a few days. Well it's been more than a few days and my gum is still very sore. It's hard for me to chew and I can't even open my mouth all the way. When I open, it looks like my mouth is open to the side rather than up and down. I have had two fillings in the past and never experienced any pain after either of them. Has anyone else ever had a problem like this after a filling? Will it get better On its own?

Why haven't you gone back to your dentist to let him see what's going on? We can't see inside your mouth, plus none of us is a dentist.
