    Self Driving Screws
    There is a small screw the cable guy uses in the stucco
    To secure the cable. It is not a tapcon. Maybe it’s a self-drilling screw. Do you still need to start a pilot hole?

    Doesn't matter as a pilot hole just makes it easier to drive a screw. Some people don't need the extra step, and some don't have a drill or bit in the first place.
