    15 carat gold jewellery
    Hi,

I am curious about 15 carat gold jewellery.

Is it a mark on gold that depicts it's really antique and old? Is it rare?

Why is this sought after by jewellery collectors? This is what I read from the internet.

Why is a 15 carat gold piece more valuable than a 22/24 carat gold in terms of gold weight by collectors?

What is the history behind this 15 carat gold?

Could someone please answer my questions? I am an avid collector of real and costume jewellery.

    Thanks.
