    Trane xe70
Hi, I have a Trane XE70 furnace and the model is TDN090A948A1. If you look at the page 1 of this link, http://www.emersonclimate.com/en-us/.../0037-5034.pdf, my Trane XE70 is using exactly the same parts (1) mercury flame sensor (2) 36E86 gas control (3) E51-15 electrode assembly (4) 5059 pilot re-light control. I want to throw away (1), (2), and (3), but I will keep (4), since it is still working well. Actually my old (1) and (2) and (3) were all coupled together, and that is the way how they work. I decide to replace all these 3 parts because mercury flame sensor is an old technology (but I do not want to replace my entire furnace because it costs too much) I want to replace (1) and (2) and (3) with newer and fit parts, and I like to consult with you if you can suggest me good new ones? Many thanks

You should call the manufacturer first, and see if such a project is even feasible. I see they have a replacement parts list for your model, and may even have the proper parts for your upgrade. Be aware that cross manufacturer parts replacement takes a knowledge of the specs and compatibility which can be quite extensive and expensive. You can also get a PDF, for a newer model furnace for part comparisons, and compatibility, to guide you as you gather your information.

Once you have those parts either call or go online to locate them, being mindful of the performance record of not just the manufacturer of the part but the reliability of the seller. Start with upgrading your mercury sensor and see what else it involves.
