They also require a doctors prescription... in the USA anyway.. you don't just decide to go out and buy them.

If you have issue at 28, your first thought should be going to an actual doctor and finding out why before anything else.

Your body still needs to be able to start to get an erection for Viagra to work. If there is another reason why you can't get an erection then it won't be effective. Make an appointment with your doctor and ensure you tell him EVERYTHING. Your body is an amazing machine of interconnecting systems. If something goes wrong in one place the symptom might be seen someplace completely different. It is important to be honest so they have a full picture of your health. Trust me they've heard and seen worse then anything you have to say to them.

I most certainly agree with you Crave. Our bodies are an amazing organism of renewable resources. We have to 'listen' though to what it is telling us. May sound creepy to some but those of us in healthcare are well aware of all possibilities.

How long have you had this issue? Can you get an erection at all, if so, how often?

At 28 there is most likely an issue that is preventing you from getting an erection. If it was only one time, then that's really not an issue. If it's happening every time, and you're never able to get an erection, even during masturbation, then you really need to have this checked out.

Viagra can help you get and maintain an erection, but all the parts have to be working. It's not a magic pill. If you're not able to get even a partial erection on your own, then viagra won't help you at all.

You need a complete physical, you need to find out why, at 28 years of age, you're having these issues. It may be a very simple issue, or it could be something that could not only save your penis, but your life.

Go to a doctor, please. At this point viagra is not the fix, you need to find out what's actually going on before considering pills that won't really fix the problem you're having.
