    Dishwasher PF Code
I have an LG LDS5811ST dishwasher that keeps displaying the PF code after turning off in the middle of a cycle and currently won't turn on at all. I have checked the voltage of the circuit it was connected to and verified it was 120v. I checked the wire connections on the dishwasher to verify they were all connected and secure. I have tried running it off another circuit to try and eliminate in house wiring problem on it's dedicated circuit. I have replaced the noise filter and verified there is 120v of power in and out of the noise filter. I have replaced the main control board after verifying I had power to that point. I ran one full cycle after I plugged it in to an outlet on anther circuit and then it wouldn't turn back on. I am now one step away from the sledge hammer and in search of some assistance. Any ideas?

Make sure to check all of your safeties. That's what it sounds like.

The only things left is a bad circulation pump, or a faulty drain pump. Or a bad float switch. Or a bad thermal fuse. This is an easy check.

I believe the thermal fuse on this model is part of the control board I already replaced. All the control board components are "glued in" so I can't remove or test them. Wouldn't one of the other components give me an error code instead of preventing it from starting?

Normally YES, but NOT if an electrical/component malfunction is shutting the dishwasher down. If you have a manual then refer to the Customer Service number.

1-800-243-0000 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK FOR LG CUSTOMER SERVICE

Sorry I could not be of further help, but please keep us updated as to your progress and outcome.

Please don't resort to the hammer yet! :I You have a condition beyond the normal here, and requires a deeper approach.
