    Unless you are experienced in tracing wire circuits and soldering or joining wires, you are better off to buy another fan.

    If the fan has a built in remote system and no pull chain at all for the speeds it cannot be done.

    Stan, I am wondering if there is a three speed wall switch, that would work. I never install a fan with a remote without some other switch somewhere
