    98 honda accord dx
    My engine will idle fine but when I hit the throttle the engine will not rev over 3000 rpms it acts like a rev limiter stops it at 3000 rpms what could that be

    I suspect the Ignition Control Module (ICM), located inside the distributor, is failing. Be sure to apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the new ICM, prior to installation.
