    Please help!!
I have recently purchased a mobile. Its written that is has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with NDR (Native Damage Resistance).
On touching the screen,it feels very smooth as it has oleophobic coating but on pressing it a bit hard, there it a sign of temporary discoloration as if it is plastic.
Is gorilla glass 3 like this?
    Please help me.

Define "pressing it a bit hard", sounds like its more than just a bit...

You must be pressing your screen a lot harder than normal or necessary. WHY?

I mean to say that the screen feels like cheap plastic screens. My mom has a Nokia Lumia 800 with gorilla glass but on touch it feels like hard glass.

    In reply to talaniman,
As the name suggests gorilla glass should be a sort of glass so I was just testing it but on pressing it a bit hard than usual,it went in and sort of discolored which I found unusual as I have used other phones too with gorilla glass but all of them had a very hard screen.

    Anyway,
    THANK YOU for replying.
