Harley fxdl blew an ignition fuse while accelerating
2001 Harley Davidson fxdl 1450c.c. my bike shut off while accelerating in 4th gear. After coasting to a stop at the side of the highway I attempted to start the bike in neutral. I had headlights/horn and dummie lights but no turn signals and no ignition. I checked fuses and 15a ignition was blown. I replaced it and attempted to start but blew fuse again. Fuse doesn't blow in acc position but once turned into start position the fuse blows. I found no visible bare wires or loose ground connections. Help.

If you are blowing a 15 Amp fuse, you have a short somewhere. Trace all the ignition and starter wires. Motorcycles are notorious for wearing spots in the wires due to vibrations and wires rubbing on the frame
