Severe hair loss and excessive body heat and sweating
    Hi,

I have been suffering from severe hair loss and excessive body heat. I feel very hot and burning feeling in feet, palms, and eyes. If I don't do a headbath for 1 day, my hair will become brittle, oily, and itchy. This has been going on since last 2 years. I have consulted so many dermatologists, every time I go, they only prescribe minoxidil topical, multivitamin, ketokonazole shampoo, and iron tablets, etc. Those are not working for me at all. I had all the blood tests in the normal range only including the thyroid profile. Please help with what is going on with me regarding the hair loss as no physician could find the actual reason behind that.

Commonly a doctor might look into diabetes and thyroid problems. I assume that you have been tested for diabetes (right??), since you were for thyroid conditions.

There's so many possibilities, skin or internal. I am not a doctor. If you can afford it, go to a clinic with different specialists in one place.

One superficial skin possibility (only) is sarcoptic mange, also called scabies, the human version of what furred animals get. It's a microscopic mite and is treated neck to ankles with a cream. The mite burrows under the skin, which could explain your feeling of high heat, but only not on the head or feet. And it usually comes with skin sores and bumps and a lot of itching all over. A lab can scrape the skin and see the mites under low power in a microscope.
Another possibility is bacterial infection on the skin. Try washing your head with liquid antibacterial hand soap (and all over, if it helps at all). But not a high probability, I think; just worth trying. And of course you could have more than one condition - one skin, one internal disease.

You could have a parasite. I don't know about parasites, and they vary around the world. Sometimes they can be seen in the eyes. I would google parasites of your country.

Feeling burning all over could be peripheral neuropathy (painful nerves). There are many kinds. Most are from diabetes and thyroid. But also liver and kidney diseases, and autoimmune diseases like lupus (associated with hair loss!) and rheumatoid arthritis and Guillain Barre. The trouble is that some can take years to diagnose by process of elimination. There's also internal infections. The list goes on. I found 2 good sites to read.

Of course since you have excessive sweating too, it might be totally different. Maybe see an endocrinologist about the hormones and glands that control your body temperature, the hypothalamus and pituitary.

This is just the beginning of suggestions. Be your own informed researcher, but don't get stuck on one disease online.
If this were me, I would try the antibacterial washing while waiting to see an immunologist first or endocrinologist second.
