    Hi,
    It is usually a closed-Y shape with a half-spherical ball on the straight end. The ball shaped piece fits in the indented portion of the bracket in the center beneath the front axle and the "y" centered in the two slotted brackets on the front of the mower.
    Lower and lock mower into lowest position, locate the ball and then "y" end.
