In general you have to check with the police, you can have your lawyer do it, to see and arrange you turning yourself in, bail and that sort of thing.

My guess is that OP was writing on a smart phone or tablet which somehow doesn't have spell-checking turned on. :)

Yes, and it is not a word we use everyday, I would guess that many people do not know the spelling. Of course wonderful auto spell check on mine, gives me a lot of wrong words
