    Car Dent
Dimple dent in fender. Boy backup into a yellow metal pole.
Don't want to involve the insurance company. What can you do to minimise the dent. Just to remove the yellow paint. The car color is green. Some have suggested doing wet sanding and using compound.
    Perhaps paint thinner. Any ideas

First, I would try WD-40 and/or car polish, plus a lot of elbow grease.

Rubbing Compound will slowly take the Yellow down to the original color.

Don't overlook WD-40 as was suggested by TGM earlier. I have used that before for paint and stickers on cars.
