    Bank account garnishment
    A creditor has garnished my bank account several months ago. How long does that garnishment last? Do they have the right to take any money in that account from now on?

    Until the debt is paid, yes.

    You should obtain a copy of the garnishment order. It should specify the amount of money owed. The bank will send any funds deposited to the creditor until the debt is satisfied.
