    Mower tries to start when key is in either position
    I have a troy built bronco riding mower. The problem is I can't get it to start. I turns over but that's it. The concern I have is it tries to turn over when the key is in the on OR off position, any help would be so appreciated. Thank you.

    In all likelihood your switch is bad, shorted out.

    Sounds like the solenoid is bad . Not starting ? Would help if we had a model and serial number .
