    Is the denser the earth is the aster siesmic waves move true
    When a seismic wave goes through earth is it true that the denser in the earth the fater the wave goes

    That doesn't make sense, that the seismic wave will go further through denser material. It is the other way around. It slows up the seismic rush.

    I think they said faster not further but the answer holds true. Seismic energy passing through more dense materials must displace more mass than seismic waves passing through a less dense material. All other factors being equal, higher densities slow down the propagation of seismic waves.
