    How to move to Ireland
I would be going with my (American) daughter, grandchildren, and Irish citizen Son-in-law. Do I count as a "family member" to be able to live there legally with them?

Not without a VISA for each of you. My Grandfather was Irish... and that doesn't count. A son-in-law doesn't either.
