Shut the hot water off at the supply. Unscrew the bonnet packing nut located under the handle and back the stem and washer assembly out counterclockwise. Replace the washer. Nowrun your fingernail over the seat and if you feel any nicks or rough spots the faucet must be replaced. If everything checks out okay then place a pan over the opened valve and turn the water back on to flush out the supply. Reassemble and test. Good luck, Tom

Does it turn 2-3 times or 1/4 turn? It could be a washer type or a 1/4 turn Delta or similar, no washer or seat per se. Post a pic.

Tom how do you know what type of faucet he or she is talking about?
The OP told me that it wasn't
    a single handle valve/
It has two knobs, one for cold water and another for cold!
I gave him directions for a washer type faucet. Cheers Tom

John and Tom have done such a great job helping you I probably shouldn't interfere, but your faucet should have a life time warranty. Call Price Pfister at 1-800-732-8238 for replacement parts.

You need parts #974-011 and 950-073, which are the springs and seats or part 974-055 which is the cartridge including the springs and seats.
