    I think they are using that spelling to differentiate the appetizer from the main course.

    My favorite recipe that they offer occasionally as a special is their Schweinshaxe braised with White Wine & Mustard, Fried Sage, Sauerkraut & Mashed Potatoes (although I usually ask for spaetzle instead of the potatoes).

    What kind of perogies? Potato, Cheddar and Jalapeņo? Sauteed or boiled, with butter and sauteed onions?

    Okay, you all have to stop talking food. I'm getting depressed.

    I miss my moms spinach the most. Ground spinach, the consistency of porridge, cooked, things added to it (what I don't know), two fried eggs, and boiled potatoes. Every year when my mom asked what I wanted for my birthday dinner, that was it! I can still taste it, even though it's been at least 15 years since I've had it and I don't have the recipe. :(
