How can I get into proofreading as a career?
I am a good reader, a fast reader, and an excellent speller. I tutored business college students in Business English I, II, and III, Vocabulary, Business Communication, and Medical Terminology. My love of reading, and the fact that I automatically proofread everything anyway, makes me think this would be a good job for me. However, I have no idea how to go about entering the field. Does anyone know who I should contact? Thanks!

You are a grammar Nazi, just like me. Have you considered a profession in editing rather than proofreading?
