How to turn off the predictive text on Samsung mobile phone

That sure is irritating! Here's how I turned it off on my phone--yours might be slightly different.

1. From the home screen, tap the Menu button
2. Select System Settings
3. Scroll down and select Language & Input
4. Next to Samsung keyboard, tap the little setting icon
5. Find Predictive Text and turn it off.
