    Power steering pump problems
    I have a 99 ford taurus that I replaced the power steering pump,and now when the car is running and I turn the wheels left and right the pulley on the pump will stop moving for a second.please can anybody tell me what would cause this to happen.

    What symptoms were there BEFORE you replaced the power steering pump?

    . Check the Power Steering Pump (PSP) Switch operation.
