    Had to recite from memory fifty years ago. I think I remember most of it?

    My son stands tiptoe in the sun
    His shadow sttriking the hour shrill
    In the mirror of his appraisng from
    I see myself growing down
    Proud of his heigh and yet afraid
    I too stand upright
    Needing the warmth of a son
    Who needs my shade
