    Hair Follicle Drug Testing - Infrequent User
    Hi! I have a pre-employment drug screen both hair and urine end of March. The last time I smoked pot (hash) and that also just a few drags was on 1/10/2014 and before that again a few drags on 12/28/2013. After reading a lot of information, I am confident that I will pass the urine test. But getting a lot of conflicting opinions about hair follicle test.
    Will I pass? This test was totally unexpected and I was unaware of such things.

    Honestly... these days... you should expect a pre-employment test. While I have no statistics... its quite common.

    Did you smoke pot... or did you smoke hash? It matters as Hash is significantly stronger and more likely to register.

    A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. Usually an employer will use the basic hair drug test that has higher cutoff levels which means you can do a small amount of drug and still be negative. I am guessing you will be negative.
