    Heat Pump making loud, squealing sound, periodically.
    Last night, my heat pump started making a very loud, squealing sound. It does it frequently, but not constantly. I have video of it. http://youtu.be/if8eZscL3Lw (WARNING: Turn down volume a little on your computer)



    Sorry, I do not have any other info at the moment (other than it wasn't a gradually build up to that noise, it went right into it.) Up until last night, it was normal.

    My goal is to see if it's something that MAY be fixable (if possible, by me), or is this something I need to get a servcie tech to look at (on a weekend :( )

    Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    On the video, it sounds like a bad fan motor but without being there & actually hearing it, I'm just guessing.
