    Blood tests to detect hormonal imbalance
    Which blood test should I go for to see whether I have any hormonal imbalance? A teacher of mine told me that to see whether I have any thyroid problems then I should go for T3 and T4 tests. What are tests should I go for; for other hormonal imbalances?

    Do not worry about the names, your doctor will order the tests needed according to what items you want to check.

    As well as what tests at logical for you at the moment. If you don't have the symptoms to support a test then they're not going to run it. While your teacher might be wise in their ways and their subjects, they're not doctors and shouldn't be relied upon for medical advice. While they might think you have a thyroid problem, it could be something completely different. As you grow in life you will need to learn and use something call critical thought. You need to consider the information and the source of the information before you trust anything. Presented with a aged high school drop out performer versus a professionally trained pH.d. Who would you trust? It goes the same with your teacher. They have a good education, but if that is all in english literature and they don't know the difference between mitosis and mitochondria than I would trust their critical dissection of Romeo and Juliet rather then their Hypo/hyper thyroidism diagnosis.

    See you doctor and describe your symptoms. They'll decide what, if anything, is best.

    I went through a blood check-up for the FT3 and FT4 tests especially.

    My "Eosinophile" value is 10%(normal range mentioned 1-6% )

    "HCT/PCV" = 36.1% (normal range mentioned 37-50%

    "MCHC" = 31.9g/dL (normal range mentioned 32-36g/dL)

    "MPV" =11.2fL (normal range 7.20-9.20fL)

    "TSH" = 107 microlU/mL(normal range 0.34-5.0microlU/mL)

    Note: I have a high level of TSH but a normal level of FT3 n FT4...And I also have the most number of symptoms for a hypothyroidism...Do I have it?

    No one here is going to answer your question. You need to have this analysied by your doctor and have him decide if the test follow that diagnosis. If that is true, you will never loss that 10kg.

    Yes, but your doctor is the one who is going to have to diagnose you. There are very few, maybe two or three, people on this site who are medically trained. And, at that point, they are not trained to provide a diagnosis such as hypothyroidism.

    These are questions for your doctor, not strangers on the internet.
