Hello, I'm a materials and metallurgical engineering student and I'm currently working on my degree project-MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF A COLD WORKED AND ANNEALED CARBON STEEL.
I had five samples which where subjected to different degrees of cold work and different annealing stages
Sample I-control sample(nothing was done to this)
Sample ii-20% cold working and recovery process
Sample iii-30% cold working and re-crystallization process
Sample iv-40% cold working and grain growth process
Sample v-50% cold working no annealing
Micro-structural analysis was carried out on each sample. The link to the micro structures is below, to view the micro structures, copy and paste the link on your browser search page.

Can anyone interpret these for me.Are there defects in these samples?
If yes, what are they and their causes and could they have been prevented?
This is the chemical composition of the steel sample I used: C-0.019, Si-0.0335, Mn-0.2905,P-0.006,S-0.013,Cr-0.0195,Ni-0.0130,Cu-0.0185,Al-0.001,Nb-0.0001, W-0.0001,B-0.0001,Mo-0.0001,V-0.0001,Ti-0.0001,Fe-99.5860
What is its grade?
Thank you.
