    no! Refrigerator icemaker lines can be run in either copper or plastic. Good luck, Tom

    Like Tom said, it can be copper tubing, plastic tubing or it can even be a special SS braided hose specifically made for ice maker hook ups (sold at all home improvement stores nowadays)... ;)
