    Concord ceiling fan
I just installed a Concord ceiling fan. It is in a older wired house. I wrote down how the other fan was wired. The fan I installed had a blue wire as well. After looking on line I believe it is hooked with the black wire coming out of fan. All is working well, except when I turn off lights one fluorescent flickers a little. When I remove it the other two start to flicker. When I put a normal bulb in the one I removed none of them flicker. Is it the fluorescent bulbs that cause it or is my wiring totally wrong? The fan is probably a 1996 fan that I took out of a place I used to live. Would the lighting system in this fan not support fluorescent bulbs? I know that is probably a stupid question, but scratching my head trying to figure it out.

Are you talking about "CFL" bulbs?

Thee do not behave well when used with ceiling fans.
