I'm 15, love to play street hockey, not the best offense, better at defense, even more better at goalie... but I was thinking if I could learn how to skate with aggressive skates to play hockey on hockey roller blades to then try ice hockey... I know it can be difficult to move around with the goalie equiptment on... I don't have the correct pads, so I use a big pillow for a chest pad and a huge hoodie to hold the pillow, then I put my friend's old hockey jersey over it... we have the leg pads, stick, catcher and blocker gloves and the mask... but would I need to learn how to play goalie on roller blades if I want to try to be an ice hockey goalie?
